Mathemania Awards Ceremony was successfully held for the 8th time in Yangon Shukhinthar Campus on 23rd September 2014, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Myanmar’s biggest math event, Mathemania, organized by Horizon International Schools, successfully took place on 14th September 2014 in 5 cities. More than 3200 students had registered and participated in this big contest. The event was conducted in five different cities: Yangon, Mandalay, Taungyi, Sagaing and Muse, and as usual was a great success.
In Yangon, more than nine hundred students participated and Top 30 students from the Primary, Secondary and High School Categories were awarded.
Along with from the prizes given to the Mathemania winners, students who won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in International Olympiads also received their medals. In this ceremony, many principals of International and Local schools attended and gave awards to the winners. And also the First Secretary of Embassy of Russian Federation, Mr Georgy V.Kuzminov, came to honor. Then the Principal of Institute of Sports and Physical Education Mr. Soe Aung gave speech to the audience.
